T	Tommaso Cogliano on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ C’è poco da dire per il castello più bello d’Irpinia! Il maestoso castello è una macchina del tempo, appena entrato ti catapulta nel passato! Abiti dell’epoca, strumenti musicali, le stanze del principe, tutto favoloso! Già così è tutto molto bello, ma la ciliegina sulla torta è la cooperativa “GUIDO” composta da ragazzi preparatissimi. Però la caratteristica principale che li rende speciali è la PASSIONE, si percepisce subito che sono anche loro affascinati dalla storia e la raccontano così bene che ti catturano e vorresti che il tour non finisse mai! Posto consigliatissimo, un peccato non visitarlo! There is little to say for the most beautiful castle in Irpinia! La prima cosa che mi colpisce è la serietà dell'interlocutore quando chiamo io numero di cell. che ho trovato per i contatti della visita al castello . Scoprirò in seguito trattarsi di una soc di servizi di giovani che gestisce le visite. Arrivo al castello e nonostante si sia solo in due persone viene avviata la visita guidata per un costo di soli 5 euro. Si intuisce subito che chi mi "racconta" il castello crede in ciò che fa e trasmette il suo entusiasmo all'interlocutore . Da quel momento parte un "racconto" in cui ci si sposta fra vari ambienti , ancora in corso di restauro ma che fanno capire bene le potenzialità del posto. Il Castello di per sé è bello, maestoso e si immagina subito come potesse aprire il posto in passato. Finita la visita guidata siamo liberi di girare per le stanze che ospitano una mostra permanente di come erano i costumi dell'epoca e di diversi strumenti musicali . Si immagina allora la vita a corte ...fra la musica di Carlo Gesualdo ed i rumori della vita castellana. Una GRAN BELLA domenica pomeriggio ,.tutto merito dei ragazzi della Soc di servizi "GUIDO" che per gentilezza e competenza hanno saputo intrattenerci . Il posto merita una puntata o una sosta in un tour giornaliero in Irpinia. Alfonso Giordano Let's start by saying that my review is completely UNINTERESTED. The first thing that strikes me is the seriousness of the interlocutor when I call my cell number. that I found for the contacts of the visit to the castle. I will discover later that it is a youth services soc that manages the visits. I arrive at the castle and although there are only two people, the guided tour starts for a cost of only 5 euros. It is immediately clear that whoever "tells me" of the castle believes in what he is doing and transmits his enthusiasm to the interlocutor. From that moment on, a "story" starts in which you move between various rooms, still undergoing restoration but which make you understand the potential of the place well. The Castle itself is beautiful, majestic and one immediately imagines how it could have opened the place in the past. After the guided tour we are free to wander around the rooms that host a permanent exhibition of what the costumes of the time and of different musical instruments were like. We then imagine life at court ... between the music of Carlo Gesualdo and the noises of castle life. A VERY BEAUTIFUL Sunday afternoon, all thanks to the boys of the service Soc "GUIDO" who for kindness and competence have been able to entertain us. Era la dimora di Carlo Gesualdo Principe di Venosa, che qui, grazie ai suoi Madrigali, diede inizio alla musica moderna. La musica moderna ha avuto inizio in questi luoghi. Metto 4 stelle perché non di può entrare nel castello, in quanto in ristrutturazione! The Castle is very beautiful and overlooks an enchanting place from a landscape point of view, which is the Calore valley. It was the home of Carlo Gesualdo Prince of Venosa, who, thanks to his Madrigals, started modern music here. Modern music began in these places. I put 4 stars because you cannot enter the castle, as it is being renovated!

There are many events throughout summer, though it might be quite difficult to explore the little village in periods other than summer. It seems that the organisers have just started to promote visits and that avoids mass tourism. Definitely a good choice of restaurants, local shops and thematic events is still missing.
