Origine Romanica. Annessa Capella dedicata alla Madonna di Pompei. Vicino sorge il Santuario di Maria Ausilatrice di recente costruzione. È' presente un organo del Mascioni. Mentre nell'altra Chiesa c'è un organo tedesco di notevole pregio. Beautiful church with three naves, with the altar facing east, towards the sunrise. Probable origins of the thirteenth century. It has undergone transformations and extensions. Romanesque origin. Annexed chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Pompeii. The recently built Sanctuary of Mary Help of Christians stands nearby. There is an organ by Mascioni. While in the other Church there is a German organ of considerable value.

Pietro e Paolo è caratterizzato da un insolito ampio androne che copre la facciata fino ad estendersi alla piccola Cappella dedicata alla Regina del SS. Rosario. L’androne è però dotato di lucernario nel soffitto e finestrate sui lati per cui risulta molto luminoso, per ben mettere in evidenza soprattutto gli affreschi sulla facciata della Chiesa. Questo androne si raggiunge o dalla lunga scalinata che parte da Corso Roma sul lato sud, o dal sagrato che si trova all’inizio della Via Panoramica. Chi non ha gambe buone meglio scelga la seconda opzione che diluisce lo sforzo lungo un percorso agevole. L’interno un tantino buio presenta tre navate, separate da colonne in pietra grigia. Sulla parete frontale delle navate laterali sono appoggiate preziose opere in legno scolpito, contenenti pale con immagini di santi e statue della Madonna. Al centro nell’Abside sono degni di nota l’antico pulpito ed il tavolo di Celebrazione, anch’essi in legno con bassorilievi. Dietro l’alto Altare in legno dorato che spicca davanti al coro igneo. Due finestre in vetri colorati raffigurano i SS. Pietro e Paolo. Sul fondo della navata centrale, su un tipico balconcino in legno , si vede un pregiato organo. Quanti trascorrono una vacanza all’Aprica non dovrebbero mancare una visita a questa piccola, ma ricca di opere e storia. Personale laico e parroco NON in linea con la carità cristiana .....mi spiace dirlo ma è così ,lo dicono in tanti.... Non puoi rimproverare una signora ( in malo modo ). perché ha la mascherina sotto il naso mentre sei nel momento della consacrazione ,alzi la particola verso il cielo, la vedi e la riprendi...la concentrazione dov'è???????? E poi passi a ritirare le offerte ( x far cassa ) e i fedeli si contaminato le mani con i soldi .. .per non parlare della disposizione x Santa Comunione.... NO NO NO .io e mio marito non la frequentiamo più ,andiamo al santuario di Tirano ,ottimamente organizzati x postazioni ,messa coinvolgente con omelie appropriate altrimenti la seguiamo tramite televisione. Mi spiace fare qs commento ma è la mia verità Two distinct structures with their own pleasant characteristics. Lay staff and parish priest NOT in line with Christian charity .....
