Magrassi era già parrocchia nel 1523.
L'orologio è stato montato sul campanile nel 1922.
La chiesa fu ampliata nel 1925-1927 con l'aggiunta di due bracci e alcuni anni dopo fu restaurata la facciata.
Dietro alla chiesa si trova un'area attrezzata per picnic.
In questa zona era posizionato il cimitero.
