La chiesa è grande, accogliente e il parroco attuale eccezionale. It was my parish when I was a child when Don Carlo was there and now I go back every Sunday with my husband. Il progetto fu eseguito dagli ingegneri Enzo Berti e Andrea Bianchini; la chiesa venne costruita negli anni 1964-65 e fu consacrata il 18 marzo 1965. Dieci anni più tardi la parrocchia contava circa 920 famiglie con una popolazione di circa 3000 persone. DescrizioneL'edificio della chiesa è a pianta rettangolare con abside semicircolare. La struttura muraria è in mattoni o intonacati o faccia vista. La facciata ha in basso un portico di mattoni. Anche il campanile in cemento armato è rivestito di mattoni.
