Nel XV secolo la sopra citata chiesa venne demolita e sostituita da una più capiente. La parrocchia di Vallenoncello fu eretta nei primi anni del XVII secolo. La chiesa, ormai inadatta a servire la comunità causa l'aumento della popolazione, fu ricostruita tra i secoli XVIII e XIX[2]. Nel 2010 il tetto dell'edificio subì un intervento di restauro[1]. It is known that, in 1056, the archbishop of Salzburg, having taken possession of the town of Vallenoncello, consecrated a small church there to St. Rupert. In the 15th century the aforementioned church was demolished and replaced by a larger one. The parish of Vallenoncello was built in the early 17th century. The church, now unsuitable to serve the community due to the increase of the population, was rebuilt between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries [2]. In 2010 the roof of the building underwent a restoration [1].
