Well kept and organized, for dogs and cats. It belongs to the municipality. You can drive in and leave food (like me), there is a sort of garden where people volunteer to walk out dogs. University of veterinary attached. Kind enough personnel.

Visiting the dogs was okay. Than we decided to look at the cats. When you want a cat, they ask you hundreds of questions, even wanting to know your whole story of life and your personal incomes. The fact many people consider pets as toys don’t give you right to stay on this line with people you don’t already know. Honestly I didn’t like this “invasion of my personal life”, if we come for a cat, we are surely ready to have it and have money to take care of him, it’s okay to ask about how your home is structured and about the safety measures you take in order to protect kittens, but the mood of the volunteer made me decide not proceeding. I am quietly understanding why there are so many cats inside. With this behavior not only you are not solving the problem of abandoned cats (in fact there are still many abandoned cats everywhere, so your behavior is useless), you are also upsetting normal people who have no bad intentions: it’s not your business if I bring the cat, if my mother takes care of him when I am abroad, if I have a job and how much time I stay outside home when I have this job. Your ONLY business is: will the cat be safe? Are you ready to afford having a cat? Are you really sure? Do you have enough time for him? These basic THREE questions, maybe with a smile, not a Police interrogation. At the end: we have adopted two cats from a private. Easy, no stress, no “Who are you? Why do you want a cat? Do you have money?” I strongly suggest people to do the same, many Facebook groups are full of people searching for cats and giving (hope you follow this instead of going buying cats). I am just sorry for the cats inside the structure, because I feel they will not be easily adopted if behavior of staff is this. Overall experience was good, staff was also friendly in general: especially visiting the dogs was a good experience.
