Sentieri in ordine e ben segnati. From the summit of the Canto Alto, after a nice walk of an hour in the woods, the view opens onto the Bergamo plain on one side and the Orobie (and not only) on the other. Paths in order and well marked.

Istituito nel 1977 per rispondere all'esigenza di salvaguardare e valorizzare un equilibrio tra la natura e la presenza umana (L.R. n. 36 del 18 agosto 1977), è il terzo parco regionale dopo quelli del Ticino e delle Groane. L'area racchiusa nel perimetro del Parco dei Colli presenta realtà molto diverse tra loro, che vanno dalla collina in senso stretto ad ambiti montani. Si tratta di un territorio dalle caratteristiche fisiche e morfologiche piuttosto eterogenee, che racchiude bellezze sia naturali sia architettoniche di grande pregio, quali ad esempio la Riserva del Giongo o il nucleo storico di Città Alta. Established in 1977 to respond to the need to safeguard and enhance a balance between nature and human presence (Regional Law no.36 of 18 August 1977), it is the third regional park after those of Ticino and Groane. The area enclosed in the perimeter of the Parco dei Colli presents very different realities, ranging from the hills in the strict sense to mountain areas. It is a territory with rather heterogeneous physical and morphological characteristics, which contains both natural and architectural beauties of great value, such as the Giongo Reserve or the historic core of Città Alta.

Abbastanza selvaggio e in nessun periodo affollato. Per chi ama il verde ed i suoni della natura, il luogo merita qualche oretta, regolarmente. It is a beautiful park, it gives freshness in summer. Ideal for peaceful walks, for cycling, jogging. Fairly wild and in no crowded period. For those who love green and the sounds of nature, the place deserves a few hours, regularly.

Però le passeggiate fatte in questo periodo, con o senza cani, nei sentieri del Parco, vanno fatte anche con un po' di cautela. È facile imbattersi sui sentieri di strani bruchi, uno attaccato all'altro. Si tratta della PROCESSIONARIA, un insetto ultra pericoloso per gli animali, e non di meno per l'essere umano. Consiglio di farsi una piccola ricerca sull'insetto, per prevenire....... 17/3/2022. Excellent territory for practicing various sporting activities, ideal for refreshing the mind and body. However, the walks made in this period, with or without dogs, in the paths of the Park, must also be done with a little caution. It is easy to come across strange caterpillars on the paths, one attached to the other. This is the PROCESSIONARIA, an ultra dangerous insect for animals, and no less for humans. I recommend doing a little research on the insect, to prevent .......

F	Fiamma Ronchi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place near the city, surrounded by nature and well-kept. For those people who are not ready to venture in the mountains, this place is a good alternative. There are a few picnic areas. I suggest to go in Spring for the fantastic experience of blossoming flowers along the paths.
