Fabulous sacristy in sculpted and inlaid wood by Fantoni, I recommend you visit them, wonderful works even more than famous and more famous cathedrals ...

I think a wonder almost unique of its kind to leave you breathless for the richness, beauty and preciousness of the works contained in it. THE FANTONIAN SACRESTIES ARE AMAZING. It is absolutely worth the 6 euro entrance fee.

Merita assolutamente una visita, meglio se guidata, le guide sono molto competenti e brave. Magnificent museum, inlays and incredible sculptures not to mention the pictorial works. Absolutely worth a visit, better if guided, the guides are very competent and good.

Gli artisti che hanno fatto queste opere eccezionali, provenienti dalla zona, sono stati artefici nella stessa val Seriana anche nelle basiliche di Gandino e Clusone. Le opere di questa basilica più importanti sono le tre Sacrestie, armadi contenenti paramenti e porte interamente scolpite. Nelle medesime stanze, sculture lignee che sovrastano la parte alta composta anche da angioletti giocosi in gesso! Nelle Sacrestie sono presenti anche lavori importanti di intarsi eccezionali e sculture di marmo, veri capolavori composti con varie colorazioni! Inoltre nella parte chiesa importante il pulpito e la cappella della Madonna del Rosario. Ai piedi di questa, in una nicchia, il bassorilievo della 'Nascita di Maria' mentre alle pareti importanti dipinti! Orima di chiudere la visita la guida porta i viditatori a vedere il Museo sovrastante. Suggerisco che la visita dovrebbe essere guidata da personale presente il sabato e domenica dalle 15 alle 18. Per prenotazione e informazioni degli altri giorni contattate la Basilica. Beautiful basilica of San Martino, rich in works of art dating back to 1600 onwards. The artists who made these exceptional works, coming from the area, were also architects in the same Seriana valley in the basilicas of Gandino and Clusone. The most important works of this basilica are the three sacristies, wardrobes containing vestments and fully carved doors. In the same rooms, wooden sculptures that dominate the upper part also composed of playful little angels in plaster! In the sacristies there are also important works of exceptional inlays and marble sculptures, true masterpieces composed with various colors! Also in the important church part the pulpit and the chapel of the Madonna del Rosario. At the foot of this, in a niche, the bas-relief of the 'Birth of Mary' while on the walls important paintings! Now to close the visit, the guide takes the visitors to see the Museum above. I suggest that the visit should be guided by staff present on Saturdays and Sundays from 15 to 18.
