★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Toller Wald mit alten Bergwerken in riesigen Höhlen. Starke Taschenlampen mitnehmen! Alte Gebäude teils von Efeu überwuchert. Viele Korkeichen. Die herabgefallenen alten Äste liegen im Urwald am Boden und sind hohl. Es gibt viele Wege und man kann sich verlaufen wenn man sich nicht auskennt, da es kaum Wegweiser gibt.
Great forest with old mines in huge caves. Take strong flashlights with you! Old buildings overgrown with ivy. Many cork oaks. The fallen old branches lie on the ground in the jungle and are hollow. There are many ways and you can get lost if you don't know your way around because there are hardly any signs.

Molto belli i single track ( per MTB ) che dall' alto della collina portano a Follonica.
Bellissimi scorci sulla baia
Challenging, especially in large paths, which should be fire cut lines.
Very nice are the single tracks (for MTB) that from the top of the hill lead to Follonica.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Grandi cesse esposte al sole, o sentieri nell'ombra della macchia mediterranea, nell'abbondare di lecci e roverelle. Paesaggio costiero sul versante di Follonica (scorci sul Golfo che tolgono il fiato), mentre su quello di Montioni è più continentale.
Large cages exposed to the sun, or paths in the shade of the Mediterranean scrub, in the abundance of holm oaks and downy oaks. Coastal landscape on the Follonica side (views of the Gulf that take your breath away), while on the Montioni side it is more continental.

The large green lung behind Follonica insists on the territory of both the province of Grosseto and Livorno. It is an uncontaminated natural park crossed by a thick path suitable for both trekking and mountain biking as well as for runners.
