★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid this "park". We walked in and rapidly out whilst exploring Mestre.
Got looked up and down by a couple of Africans on the way in and instantly saw multiple groups of young men some wearing no shirts and drinking, all checking us out awkwardly. This place looked more like a prison yard than a public green space.
Quickly left to avoid conflict or being robbed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a small but very refined park in the center of Mestre. Villa Querini has a formal garden at the front and a more informal, romantically planted area at the back. The park has benches, a children's playground, a herb garden, an enclosed dog park and bike lanes. The park isn't too big so it's easier to keep track of your kids. The Marzenego River flows along the park and it just makes the whole place shine! This park was one of the only ones in the city before the city administrations decided to plant more trees and parks. I certainly suggest you visit the place if happen to be in Mestre.
