★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mancano sentieri per arrivarci a piedi, attenzione googlemaps vi manda sulla statale per il percorso a piedi, non proproo piacevole ne sicuro. Ma il posto è fiabesco e merita.
There are no paths to get there on foot, attention googlemaps sends you on the state road for the walking route, not pleasant or safe. But the place is fairytale and deserves it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un posto bellissimo per passeggiate all'aperto, a piedi, in bici, con i vostri cani.
Sentieri sicuri e piatti, facili ed adatti a tutti, adulti e bambini. Ogni tanto è piacevole soffermarsi ad ammirare i rapaci che volano silenziosi, oppure addentrarsi nel bosco per cercare castagne, more.
Poi c'è la Caldara di Manziana, uno spiazzo dove l'acqua sulfurea sgorga dalla terra, una bella sorpresa per i bambini....compresi i commenti sugli odori ?.
Potete trovare panche in legno dove riposare.
Da provare, con rispetto per la natura, e ricordate, l'immondizia non lasciatela nel bosco!!!
A beautiful place for outdoor walks, on foot, by bike, with your dogs.
Safe and flat paths, easy and suitable for everyone, adults and children. Every now and then it is pleasant to stop and admire the birds of prey that fly silently, or to go into the woods to look for chestnuts, blackberries.
Then there is the Caldara di Manziana, a clearing where sulphurous water gushes from the earth, a nice surprise for children .... including comments on smells ?.
You can find wooden benches to rest.
To try, with respect for nature, and remember, don't leave the garbage in the woods !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tanto odore di acqua sulfurea, posto tranquillo adatto a rilassarsi. Ampio parcheggio.
A lot of smell of sulphurous water, a quiet place suitable for relaxing. Ample parking.

C'è anche una bellissima passegiata ad anello nel bosco accanto, ben segnalata.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paesaggio lunare, possibile passeggiare in tranquillità accompagnati dal canto degli uccelli e dall'odore di zolfo, che prevale su tutto. Rimangono i resti del vecchio percorso guidato, le cui targhe sono oramai inutilizzabili. Recentemente hanno aggiunto dei camminamenti e targhe esplicative.
Lunar landscape, you can walk in peace accompanied by birdsong and the smell of sulfur, which prevails over everything. The remains of the old guided path remain, whose plates are now unusable. They have recently added walkways and explanatory plaques.

La leggenda narra che sia legata al dio degli inferi, tant'è che il nome Manziana deriverebbe prioprio dal dio etrusco degli inferi, Manth.
Caldara which is located in a wood of white birch trees.
Legend has it that it is linked to the god of the underworld, so much so that the name Manziana derives from the Etruscan god of the underworld, Manth.
