★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great lake for a refreshing swim, canoe or paddle boat ride or just relaxing on a sunbed with a cold drink under the shade of an umbrella in one of the few lidos which constelleate the lake's edge. The road along the lake and the whole area you will find take out stalls which specialises roasted pork locally known as "porchetta" served the fresh crispy bread makes an excellent meal after a day at the lake beach. Must go to location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place is quiet & calm,easily reachable from Rome. From hustle & bustle of city you can move there to enjoy natural beauty & silence of city. Though town is quite small u can roam around whole town in 2-3 hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful park right outside the capital, Rome. Great for hiking good food and fresh air. The small towns inside the park offer a great variety of accomodations and top restaurants. The two lakes allow also for a summer cool off. Crowded during the weekend especially in hotter days. Train and buses are available from the capital to reach the towns.
