It's history at 360 degree, from the Roman times through the Middle Ages on to the melting pot of the modernity.

Porta Palatina is the the only worthy historical and tourist attraction here. The amphitheatre is closed from public access (you need a ticket for the nearby museum to gain access). Plenty of loose dogs in the park running around with the accompanying dog feces laying around (owners ignoring the regulations and rules displayed on boards by the park entrances). Not safe for children with so many loose dogs about. Dog owners very unpleasant about you leaving the public park gates slightly open and remarking you (the tourist following the rules) to close it or else their unleashed dog may escape...

One of the landmarks not to miss in Turin, the Roman Palatine quarter.

Other than offering a couple of heavily restored Roman era towers and two status of roman emperors, Parco Archeologico Torri Palatine is a mostly open space where many dogs love to run around. A small shaded area is very popular with tourists and locals who visit just to escape the sun, especially on a hot summer day.
