★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wij hebben onze auto hier niet geparkeerd. Bij het verlaten van het terrein werd gevraagd om de sleutel in de auto te laten. Dat hebben wij niet gedaan. Wij zijn vertrokken en hebben onze auto langs kant van de via Monza, geparkeerd, à €1 / uur.
We did not park our car here. When leaving the premises, they were asked to leave the key in the car. We did not do that. We left and parked our car on the side of the via Monza, at € 1 / hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parcheggiato stanotte la mia Octavia blu. Me ne sono accorto appena uscito. Paraurti graffiato. Mi sarebbero bastate le scuse. Invece lo hanno tenuto nascosto. E hanno anche passato la mano per vedere il danno. Scorretti. Quindi vi dico: ve lo sconsiglio. Non si fa così.
Parked my blue Octavia tonight. I noticed it as soon as I got out. Scratched bumper. An apology would have been enough. Instead they kept it hidden. And they also passed their hand to see the damage. Incorrect. So I tell you: I do not recommend it. It's not like that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Convenient parking about 1.5km from the Colosseum, 3€ for the first hour and 2€ / hour after that. Catch a bus from there or go by foot past some of the other sites in Rome, the Basilica St John and the Egyptian obelisk in front of it, the old walls at porta St Giovanni, after the Colosseum you can go to the Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps a little further on

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great place to park. You do need to leave a key with the attendant (that’s the law here) but it’s nothing to worry about. My van was safe and secure at a price that was very reasonable for the area. Highest recommendation to anyone.
