★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful late lunch at Pappamonte after a long trek among the wonderful ruins of Herculaneum. The food is prepared with fresh ingredients and clearly a lot care and talent. The waitress was lovely, fun and helpful and spoke perfect English and French. The setting was also very nice with nice tasteful decorating. And the bill was quite reasonable ( certainly good value for money in view of the food quality) All in all a great experience. Thank you

We couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough.
We would definitely come again while visiting Ercolano

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pleasant surprise for a touristic location. Very good food and friendly staff. Nice interior. We had the fish and bread salad and t he cake as dessert. All was perfect.

I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken and it was fantastic, the croutons were good! Just keep in mind that the Caesar here is not what you would get in the states, this was a yogurt based dressing that was delicious. The mixed bruschetta was fantastic as well. Overall I’d recommend a visit, although it seemed a smidge pricy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered Steak; it was tasty. They have a nice place with exciting decorations and amiable staff. They have a significant positive point from my side: they use recyclable and woody plates and forks and knives for taking away orders. I can say they are somehow a green restaurant, and it is admirable.
