★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stumpled across this bakery by accident in a side street around Noto. This has to be the best bakery we came across all around this part of Sicily! The chocolate filled crescent roll we had here was seriously one of the best I have tasted in a long time. Pizza bianco was simple but expertly crafted and gave us something to snack on for the whole day. The portion size was huge and a real bargain at that!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are lots of small bakers in Italy, but few that specialize in sourdough and are as classy as Maidda.
We bought lovely sourdough bread, sourdough focaccia and pizza. It was all great and it’s highly recommendable.
They also make sandwiches and sell drinks for a quick lunch

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing, mouth watering products made with the best ingredients. Although I am intolerant to gluten, I cannot help myself also because as they use ancient Sicilian wheat I don't have a big reaction.
Extremely, highly, recommended :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mama mia !!!! 10€ for two and such tasteful experience!! The shop is very cute! Everything seems to be home made by a baker at the back. Try the *pizza" with zucchini, a must try !
