★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il pani cunzatu è una focaccia tipica della zona di Siracusa ma credo dell'intera Sicilia, condita con tanto olio, formaggio fresco tipo primo sale e salame o verdure sott'olio. Mi aspettavo sicuramente qualcosa di più, perché, nonostante l'olio abbondante, la focaccia risulta secca perché troppo alta. Il posto è molto caratteristico, frequentato soprattutto da operai, camionisti e turisti di passaggio.
The pani cunzatu is a typical focaccia of the Syracuse area but I think of the whole of Sicily, seasoned with lots of oil, fresh cheese such as Primo Sale and salami or vegetables in oil. I was certainly expecting something more, because, despite the abundant oil, the focaccia is dry because it is too high. The place is very characteristic, frequented mainly by workers, truck drivers and passing tourists.
