★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stay and a good spot for a first night stop having arrived at Catania airport. Do use a Sat Nav - longitude and latitude required. A great artistic couple run the Agriturismo - the food is very good and in late autumn the orange grove is at its best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So much fun! Great variety of animals to see (cattle, goats, sheep, horses, birds, donkeys), amazing food with large portions, and the most kind and knowledgeable staff. Must visit!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is extremely peaceful at Il Giardino del Sole and whilst it is isolated in the countryside, it only takes about 30 to 45 mins to get to Catania by car. There is ample parking space. Our cabin was fairly comfortable, breakfast is reasonable and dinner is also good. It's nice to walk around the farm and the beautiful tree gardens. Only drawback was that lighting in our cabin was lacking and there was no mirror in the cabin except a small mirror in the bathroom. You can purchase products manufactured by the hosts, such as jams, marmalades, olive oil, wine, etc., ??
Weather permitting there is also a good sized pool and a playing field for young kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An agriturismo run by a family. Mother and two children. It is huge with a big swimming pool in the garden. They have rooms and cabins and all kind of animals. The food is really homemade, tasteful and a lot. The products they die are biological and from their own animals. It is 25 minutes driving to the airport.
