★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is on the main pedestrian street and one of the best one. There are many small places an I tried many of them. This has more interesting dishes and better made. Some are excellent. Do not try hamburger. It is very different than you expect but other dishes great. They have only one white one red and one prosecco by the glass. They could change that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved our lunch at this pretty little restaurant. Tasty seafood pasta dishes, octopus and bean salad lovely too. Larger portions. Service was great, a young waitress single handed looked after all the tables professionally on the shaded outside area. We even messed up the order due to our poor Italian, and they didn't charge for our errors. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is quite small but very nice, located in the center of Castiglione della Pescaia.
It is very busy during summer, so be sure to reserve for dinner otherwise it won't be possible to have dinner.
We reserved a table for the second turn starting at 9:30 pm.
We arrived there earlier (around 9:15), but we got our table only at 10:00 pm.
That was a bit annoying, but we didn't say anything as we could see the waiters very busy trying to serve all the tables.
Waiters were nice and the menu has a wide selection of sea food.
We decided to take one appetizer to share and 2 main dishes (one was not in the menu, it was proposed by the waiter)
The overall dinner was good and the fish was well cooked and prepared, however there were many negative points.
We shared a plate of cold fish tastings and there were several pieces of fruits. Very nice, but the problem was that the fruits were unripe. There was mango, melon and peach on the plate, but they were not good. I was wondering why would you put unripe fruit together with fish. (judge from the color of the mango, yellow, in the picture).
As main dishes we took "coda di rospo con lardo" and "astice" (outside the menu options).
Also here there were a few doubts.
The "coda di rospo" was very nice, but it didn't have a strong flavor, the pureed peas were overtaking the flavors of the dish.
The "astice" was delicate and excellent, but it came with a salad with orange. It was a bit acid and again, it was covering the flavor of the astice.
We took as side dish, fried and oven cooked potatoes ... excellent.
So the whole dinner was good, but nothing great.
The main negative point was the bill.
The price of the dishes are very reasonable, but when we chose the "astice", the waiter didn't tell use the price, and at the end it was almost the double compared to all the other dishes. Not a big deal, but I think the waiter should have told us at the beginning.
