M	Marco Molinari on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today I had a chance to visit and have a look at their art collection, all of the exposed art works were from Salvador Dali and somehow they still managed to do a bad job, I was genuinely amazed by the lack of sense of their captions and by the unordered fashion in which they arranged their material. I am giving three stars because the quality of the art and the facilities was still exceptional. I am still quite puzzled as of now with regards to the fact that the captions were utterly imprecise, failing to mention key details such as the omnipresent Freudian drawers and the obvious references to junghian thought. Oggi ho avuto la possibilità di visitare e dare un'occhiata alla loro collezione, tutte le opere d'arte in esposizione erano di Salvador Dali e in qualche modo sono riusciti comunque a fare un pessimo lavoro, sono rimasto genuinamente stupefatto dalla mancanza di senso delle didascalie e dal disordine con cui hanno disposto le opere. Do 3 stelle perché la qualità della struttura e delle opere è comunque eccezionale. Sono davvero basito rispetto al fatto che le didascalie mancano di menzionare dettagli chiave ed oggi come gli omnipresenti cassetti freudiani e gli ovvi riferimenti al pensiero junghiano. È stato per 100 anni la sede a Siena della Banca d’Italia ospiterà nei prossimi dodici mesi circa 100 opere di Slvador Dalì. Tutte opere che si è ispirato a Galileo Galilei il quale soggiornò nell’edificio, dopo la condanna del Santo Uffizio. Il Palazzo riapre sabato 19 settembre 2020 con la mostra “Dalí a Siena: da Galileo Galilei al Surrealismo” Da non perdere assolutamente. Palazzo delle Papesse or also known as Palazzo Piccolomini ... It was the headquarters of the Bank of Italy in Siena for 100 years and will host about 100 works by Slvador Dalì over the next twelve months. All works inspired by Galileo Galilei who stayed in the building after the condemnation of the Holy Office. The Palazzo reopens on Saturday 19 September 2020 with the exhibition “Dalí in Siena: from Galileo Galilei to Surrealism”. Not to be missed.

La mostra è organizzata in 7 percorsi concentrati e per nulla dispersivi. Nel giro di un'ora o poco più si visita tutto leggendo accuratamente. Personale cordiale e disponibile! Qualità prezzo molto buono! For a few more months this historic building hosts the Salvador Dalí exhibition with absolutely not obvious works that immerse you in the immense culture of the artist. The exhibition is organized in 7 concentrated and not at all dispersive paths. Within an hour or so you can visit everything by reading carefully. Friendly and helpful staff! Very good price quality!
