★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Palazzo Piccolomini, è un bellissimo palazzo cittadino che si affaccia sul paesaggio della Val d’Orcia, ovvero la residenza originale del Pontefice e della sua famiglia. La dimora venne disegnata proprio da Rossellino, e fu costruita al disopra dello stesso edificio dove nacque Silvio Piccolomini nato nel 1405.
La facciata è stata divisa in tre ordini e la sì può ritrovare anche nella loggia posteriore, accessibile visitando il palazzo.
Palazzo Piccolomini, is a beautiful city building overlooking the landscape of the Val d’Orcia, which is the original residence of the Pope and his family. The residence was designed by Rossellino himself, and was built above the same building where Silvio Piccolomini was born, born in 1405.
The façade has been divided into three orders and can also be found in the rear loggia, accessible by visiting the palace.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Molto carino ne vale la pena di visitarlo, il giro guidato non costa molto e anche se ti vengono fornite audio guide vi è comunque una ragazza pronta e preparata ad ogni curiosità. Spettacolo il giardino con vista panoramica su tutta la valle. Consigliato
Very nice it is worth a visit, the guided tour does not cost much and even if you are provided with audio guides there is still a girl ready and prepared for every curiosity. The garden is spectacular with a panoramic view over the whole valley. Recommended

Lovely building with magical view. The interior is very impressive and worth a visit. The only flaw was the guide that was assigned to us because she was all the time looking at her mobile phone screen.
