β β β β β Absolutely lovely gardens and house. Worth a visit if you are in Lucca and breaks you away from the walled town.

β β β β β The gardens are very nice, unfortunatelly only a small part of the castle is open for public.
Nevertheless, it's worth the visit.

β β β β β Beautiful gardens but nothing that you won't find outside (Lucca is indeed a beautiful medieval town). The exhibition only shows one floor (actually half of it because they only give access to 4 rooms: kitchen, dinner salon, a studio and the bedroom). Being a 3 stories Palace. In my honest opinion is not worth it to walk around one fifth of it.

β β β β β I only visited the garden, but it was worth it. However, I think that the tickets could be cheaper, as the garden isn't very big. The costs for a visit to the garden costs 4.50 per adult. Kids under 18 seem to be free of costs, as my little brothers didn't require any ticket costs. They are 11 and 15. I think that the garden is more special than the actual palazzo that we also checked in the little brochure we got when we went in. The costs to only visit the palazzo are just as much. Combined, the costs are a little higher. The garden looked very well taken care of, and it also has some bamboo trees in it which is cool. The statues look very nice and you can see one of the towers from within the garden. You can also see a little piece of the walls of Lucca, and from the walls yo u can probably also check out the garden a bit. The garden has enough paths to walk on and a lot of flowers, and there are enough benches to sit down or you can sit down in one of the chairs. We sat down for half an hour which was very relaxing and the place is cool enough in the summer when you sit down in the shadows. I would recommend the garden, but I don't really know if the palazzo is also worth it.

β β β β β Worth visiting the garden which is beautiful and peaceful - you can sit there and enjoy the sun and the view. However donβt expect too much from the house where you will only be able to see one floor.
