Pueblo medieval de extremada belleza y tranquilidad visita obliga que se parte desde la fuente que se ubica en el centro de la plaza. el recorrido se hace a pie, no estan permitidos los autos. P	Pietro Guida on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È una affascinante struttura che risale all'inizio del Trecento e che attualmente, in parte ristrutturata, viene utilizzata per importanti manifestazioni culturali e turistiche della città in particolare per eventi come Gironi Divini che si svolge la penultima settimana di agosto e che è interamente dedicata ai versi della Divina Commedia di Dante Alighieri in cui Tagliacozzo viene citato in virtù della battaglia tra Corradino di Svevia e Carlo d'angiò. A Palazzo Ducale si tiene Inoltre ogni anno a luglio il Festival Internazionale della comunicazione ControSenso dove sono ospiti importanti nomi del mondo del giornalismo della cultura e della comunicazione. Costruito all'inizio del '300 dalla famiglia Orsini. Il primo impianto del palazzo prevedeva un solo piano con un portico aperto nella parte bassa. Le finestre del primo piano sono bifore rettangolari, ma risulta evidente che le due di sinistra sono diverse da quelle di destra sia per stile che per gusto risultando più antiche di quelle di destra, che invece appaiono più semplici ed arrotondate nelle colonnine e negli spigoli. La decorazione presente nelle finestre di destra (una semplice dentellatura), risulta uguale a quella del portale principale, per cui queste decorazioni si rifanno ad un unico artista. Sono stato qui l'anno scorso per un recital poetico, ritorno quest'anno per una presentazione di un libro di una carissima amica poetessa. L'accoglienza è sempre significativa, il contorno culturale sempre impressionante. Da visitare, consigliato. Natural scenery for cultural events. Ideal place for exhibitions and shows.
