L'abitazione, voluta dal segretario del Senato della Repubblica di Venezia Giovanni Dario, si è costruita questa tremenda fama nel corso degli anni a causa delle misteriosi morti, quasi tutti suicidi, dei suoi proprietari. Sono molte le ipotesi formulate nel tentativo di spiegare la maledizione della casa: c'è chi sostiene che il palazzo fu costruito su un cimitero dei templari, chi dice che Ca' Dario sia influenzata dal talismano volto ad allontanare la negatività posto sul portone acqueo del palazzo di fianco. Nonostante tutte queste ipotesi non confermate, coloro che ci sono stati testimoniano uno strano senso d'inquietudine, sia quando si è all'interno del palazzo, sia quando lo si guarda. Palazzo Dario, now better known as Ca 'Dario, is a typical Venetian-style building that has been under a curse for centuries: the owners of the house would be brutally killed, die suicide or perish from "strange" accidental causes. The house, commissioned by the secretary of the Senate of the Republic of Venice, Giovanni Dario, has built up this tremendous reputation over the years due to the mysterious deaths, almost all suicides, of its owners. There are many hypotheses formulated in an attempt to explain the curse of the house: there are those who claim that the palace was built on a Templar cemetery, those who say that Ca 'Dario is influenced by the talisman aimed at removing the negativity placed on the water door of the next building. Despite all these unconfirmed hypotheses, those who have been there testify to a strange sense of disquiet, both when inside the palace and when looking at it.

This Dario building is interesting, beautiful and fascinating as soon as it was renovated, the very personal men and women at the service of kindness and cordiality have their customers here. L'altro ingresso è a Dorsoduro, nei pressi del Campiello Barbaro. Deve la sua fama alla (presunta) maledizione che vuole che i suoi proprietari cadano in rovina e muoiano prematuramente. La "casa maledetta" ha avuto proprietari famosi, tra nobili, artisti e uomini d'affari ed ora è di proprietà di una società immobiliare ( americana?). È quindi privata e non visitabile. Ca 'Dario is a splendid palace dating back to 1479, just restored, with a characteristic slope on one side of the facade that protrudes over the Grand Canal. The other entrance is in Dorsoduro, near the Campiello Barbaro. It owes its fame to the (alleged) curse that wants its owners to fall into disrepair and die prematurely. The "cursed house" had famous owners, including nobles, artists and businessmen and is now owned by an (American?) Real estate company. It is therefore private and cannot be visited.

Le leggende le conosco, ma so anche che la storia è piena di vicende tragiche avvenute un po’ dappertutto. Basta rendersi conto che “Tutti dobbiamo Morire, forse anch’io”. In fondo un miracolo l’ha fatto fin dall’inizio: assestarsi e restare in piedi nonostante le pareti fuori piombo. So beautiful and well known, I wish I could live there. I know the legends, but I also know that history is full of tragic events that took place a bit everywhere. Just realize that "We all have to die, maybe me too". After all, a miracle did it right from the start: settle down and remain standing despite the out-of-plumb walls.
