Accoglienza stupenda. Sembra di tornare indietro nel tempo. In quella piazzetta dopo cena due persone hanno iniziato a suonare le tarantelle con fisarmonica e tamburello a sonagli. In più nelle vicinanze vive un falconiere che ci ha fatto accarezzare il suo gufo reale. Esperienza bellissima e servizio ottimo di Giuseppe il proprietario del locale.

 Very characteristic place. We enjoyed typical Calabrian cuisine.
Wonderful welcome. It seems to go back in time. In that little square after dinner two people started playing the tarantella with accordion and rattle tambourine. In addition, a falconer lives nearby who has us caressed his eagle owl. Wonderful experience and great service by Giuseppe the owner of the restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prima volta alla trattoria U Turioleddu a Melito Porto Salvo. Fantastica serata tra piatti tipici locali. In assoluto la parmigiana di melanzane. La professionalità e disinvoltura di Peppe è stata ineguagliabile. La sig.ra Margherita è stata bravissima e impeccabile. Lo consiglio a tutti coloro che vogliono assaporare il meglio della cucina calabrese. Sicuramente ci tornerò appena possibile.
First time at the U Turioleddu restaurant in Melito Porto Salvo. Fantastic evening with typical local dishes. Absolutely the eggplant parmigiana. Peppe's professionalism and ease was unparalleled. Ms Margherita was very good and impeccable. I recommend it to all those who want to savor the best of Calabrian cuisine. I will definitely be back as soon as possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un primo impatto non proprio positivo, hanno ripreso punti con la cordialità e la professionalità della ragazza addetta al servizio al tavolo ed incrementato dalla quantità e la qualità del cibo. Non do il punteggio massimo solo perché mi sono sentito dire dal titolare, dopo aver chiesto semplicemente cosa prevedesse il menù fisso (non esposto ne per pietanze ne per il prezzo), "se vi sta bene è cosi5altrimenti potete andare così non mi fate perdere tempo". Non credo sia un'affermazione degna di un titolare di un locale che campa con i clienti paganti.
A not exactly positive first impact, they gained points with the friendliness and professionalism of the girl in charge of the table service and increased by the quantity and quality of the food. I don't give the maximum score just because I heard from the owner, after simply asking what the fixed menu entailed (not displayed either for dishes or for the price), "if it suits you, it's like this5, otherwise you can go so don't waste my time ". I don't think that's a worthy statement of a club owner who lives with paying customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sind ohne Reservierung direkt rein, an sich keine Chance gehabt, da keiner auf Gäste eingestellt war…aber genau da zeigt sich die Professionalität, große Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft des Besitzers, der dann mal eben schnell ohne viel Theater sowohl was veganes als auch was fleischhaltiges auf den Tisch zauberte. Großartig. Riesenportionen, Top- Qualität, super Preis-Leistung. Das Ganze garniert mit vielen kleinen Anekdoten über die Geschichte des Ortes. Mega. Mein Tipp: Reservieren!
We went straight in without a reservation, actually had no chance, as nobody was prepared for guests ... but this is exactly where the professionalism, great warmth and hospitality of the owner can be seen, who then quickly and without much fuss on both vegan and meat conjured up the table. Great. Big portions, top quality, great value for money. The whole thing is garnished with many little anecdotes about the history of the place. Mega. My tip: make a reservation!

Small tavern set in the beautiful and charming village of the Old Country of Melito di Porto Salvo; welcoming staff serving homemade dishes accompanied by all kinds of drinks, especially good native wine. Definitely recommend to visit
