Last night we had dinner here. I ordered a beer named Forst and became a Krombacher. I tried to order a pork fillet but it was sold out. After that i choosed a “tagliolino” well done cooked and it was maybe medium and a little bit bloody.
By the way we ate in several restaurants in Puglia during our journey and here was the taste of the food not so good. But this is my personal opinion. And that is absurd that after I rated this place the chef texted me on messenger to rebuke me. I have to laugh of you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute place with a few tables inside located a minute walk from the center of town. The server was attentive and professional. The food was sensational according to my husband - I eat vegetarian and had little option (which I expected before going). He ordered grilled lamb and orecchiette with beef and they were great. I ordered a vegetarian pasta which was so tasty, and a potato side dish. For dessert, we got tiramisu and it was light and delicious.
The price for the quality and experience were excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall, I had a bad experience in this restaurant.
1. It’s a very small restaurant, you have to book, and expect to wait ~30 minutes when you get there at the time of your booking. I’m not going to get into the whole debacle I had with the person at the door, just don’t expect a 5-star welcome.
2. The waiters are very helpful and really nice. They know the menu well, and made great pasta/gnocchi recommendations. For that I’m giving the 2nd star.
3. This is a place known to serve the best meat in town. The menu even has a story about how they choose quality meats and serve only the best. We ordered 2 of the recommended filetto steaks - we ordered them medium. We got 2 well done steaks, that tasted grainy and disgusting, to the point where I couldn’t even swallow it. As we had already waited a long time for the table and the food, I wasn’t interested in waiting for them to remake another one. I complained to the waiter, and expectedly, nothing was done.
If your in polignano amare, skip this place, and head to the many other options available.
