I wish I would’ve read the reviews before I ate here. Because the food was AWFUL. An easy $500 dinner, to then have to go out and eat else where. I grew up Croatian and my boyfriend is Italian. Both raised at home & ate REAL European food. And this was such a disappointment. Such a shame, because it’s a beautiful restaurant, but I would NEVER come back to eat. You’re better off booking a room or coming for breakfast. This place is a tourist trap. The amount they charge you for a set menu for tasteless food is absurd. Seriously, save your money. Just stop by to see the restaurant but that’s it. Go eat at a real Italian restaurant.

We called a few days ago and asked if we could order one instead of two children‘s menu for our two children (1.5 and 3 years old). The idea was that they share the meal. We usually order one meal in every other restaurant as our kids don‘t eat more than half a menu. Unfortunately we were told that we can only order two kid’s menus for 100€ each. This seems a little bit insane as our kids wouldn‘t eat everything. That is a waste of of not just money but food too. We honestly don‘t understand the restaurant‘s policy. Sadly we decided not to go.

We didn't stay in this hotel but we did reserve an evening dinner at the breathtaking restaurant! Although I would normally hesitate to dine in such an expensive place yet to dine in this dramatic setting was well worth it if you are in the central Puglia region of southern Italy. There was an a la carte option, however we opted for the prix fix. We had two bottles of wine and bottled water and we paid about €700 for two people. There was live music and the service was good. We did not feel rushed and there is nothing but really good feeling that arise when I recall dining al fresco by this cave as the blue Adriatic crashed along the base of our terrace table. We parked in their private lot on the other side of the lovely town of Polignano a Mare and they had a private car transport us to the front entrance of the restaurant. We felt like celebrities sneaking out of our limo into an exclusive event! The food was excellent but not sure if it merited the price but I understand that we were paying mostly for the location and experience. It was truly memorable!

Imagine that many tables was empty, but they didn’t allow for us to change the table & there is no reservation for the tables. They eas to rude when we asked. We pay 195€ per person but they dont know how to respect there customers. For sure the location is wonderful but i will not advise to visit and waste your money.

⛺️Dream Grotta Palazzese Restaurant in Italy This restaurant is located inside a cave overlooking the Adriatic Sea. The cozy environment, relatively low light and the unique view of the sea from inside the cave has made eating in this restaurant a completely unique experience.??

Stay away. Total tourist trap. The most gorgeous setting in existence where you’ll spend $1000 for what can best be described as Carrabas tried their hardest to do a tasting menu with a wine pairing. We’re not super snooty ppl that put down everything, we’re also people that have no problem dropping $700 on a Michelin Star meal. The food was atrocious, the wine pairings nonsensical, the olive oil rancid. Honestly the first time in my life I didn’t enjoy bread and olive oil at a restaurant. The first time in Italy that I didn’t enjoy the pasta. Literally turned to my wife and said, after 3 years of living in Europe that was the first restaurant that broke my heart. Just a soulless capitalist money grab.

Me and my husband didnt stay at their hotel but i placed a dinner reservation for two before we left Canada. To be honest, it was an amazing experience to see the cave and the restaurant. It’s more beautiful in person than in instagram, where i originally saw it. The food is definitely quite sumptuous and filling despite of how small the servings can be! My fave is the lobster! It’s so juicy that i can still remember to this day the taste of it! Aside from the 3 course meal, we also enjoyed the background music! It was definitely a night to remember! Its definitely a must place to visit in Polignano a Mare

Very disappointed.. Especially food quality was far too low for the expensive prices. Location itself is great, fabulous, one of a kind.. But if I pay approx. 300 euro per person, I also expect good food on my plate, which was not the case.. Sorry, but will not recommend this place to other people, unless they want to pay a lot for the view and location only... This should be much much much better for such a restaurant...
