★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot speak higher about the experience we had at Il Rosone. Pleasant staff, huge portions for the price, and high quality food. Do not skip the meat/cheese platter, which can easily satisfy 4 for a mere €20.
We had be in Italy for about 2 weeks up until our visit here and this might have been the tops.

The mixed platter was delicious, with a variety of Italian cured meat (pugliese capocollo was delicious) and Italian cheeses of different intensity.
The beef was very tender, juicy and tasty.
Everything on the menu looked so good, I wish I could have ordered everything.
The wine selection is very large, with a lot of pugliese wines. You can also taste wine from all of Italy, or even some international wines.
We took a 2016 Negroamaro which was delicious.
On top, Giuseppe was very lovely all night long and made us feel at home.
If you are in Locorotondo you must go eat there!
