★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely cosy restaurant with exceptional staff and food. We were a party of 6 and ordered a large number of dishes from the menu and all we fabulous. If I had a criticism it would be my preference for more vegetables with the main courses but that is a minor thing. After one month in Puglia this is the best meal by far that we have had. Loved it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful food, location and atmosphere. Got a great tip from Mickey as well for dinner at another village. Better than the standard dishes like fantastic mini meatballs with pasta, and ravioli with yellow tomato reduction. Great service and staff. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are 5 days in to our trip and this was by far the best experience we have had. The service was excellent. The waiter - host - kitchen interaction worked seamlessly. They catered for my vegan girlfriend. The pasta dish was delicious (fusilli with artichokes, pork belly) and the jam tart was just as good. Definitely worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was good. The ambience was good too. However, we were disappointed by the service. We kindly asked staff to remove bacon from one of the dishes as we are pescatarians, but then they brought it with bacon — we accepted to eat it and just remove bacon ourselves as we do not like food to be wasted, but the staff hasn’t even apologized, instead, they said “just try a little bit with bacon, it is very good” ??♂️ After we finished our mains, we felt like they completely forgot about us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great restaurant with good service and a beautiful setting. As this place is located underground, and like any stone building, it is cooler - great in the summer and somewhere you might want to bring a sweater otherwise ;). Now back to the food, we had the:
1. Tris antipasto (bread “meatballs”/polpette (no meat), white bean and chicory purée, a staple in the region, and crostini with Capocollo from Martina Franca, a town nearby (and a very well known capocollo)
2. A zucchini and egg tart on a yellow cherry tomato purée
3. Sea bass for me with a zucchini salad, and the rabbit thighs. The sea bass was excellent - for those who like rabbit, it definitely is the show stealer. It was perfect!
Definitely recommend.
