★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had the bruscetta at Osteria Giglio. I Can only judge on this meal. The location was quiet and not to hot. Personel was friendly and did their job.
The food was not that good. The bruscetta bread had a lack in taste and was a bit burnt. The tomatoes were not fresh and bascil was already soaking for a while. The tomatoes were also lacking seasoning. There was also a strange taste of vinegrette that I personally did not like.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were approached by the kind Goran to come and eat and I replied we’d come back. He spoke several languages and was friendly so we came back for an early dinner. Goran was super patient with my (obvious) American children and my indecisiveness. I was surely surprised when my steak came and it was so large but suggested for one person! I could hardly eat half but it was perfectly cooked medium rare and lightly seasoned. Goran suggested the Fried Zucchini Flowers for my side since I wanted a vegetable and I must say it was amazingly delicious! The zucchini flowers were seriously so good! My daughter ordered a pizza and they added salami for her, it was an entire pizza so we brought most home. My son ordered spaghetti and had to bring it home as well since the portions were so large. Everything was great and Goran was certainly knowledgeable if we had any questions. He even suggested a wine for pairing. It was an overall wonderful dinner and I highly recommend this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A truly Florentine experience from when you walk through the door. A warm greeting to a menu with Tuscan variety and specials. We enjoyed truffled tagliatelle and Florentino Bistecca ? with all the trimmings plus dolce ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food and service. You can have a huge steak just for 19.90€. Pasta costs 10-12€. Bottle of house wine 16€. Location is also good - close to the Duomo. I can recommend this place for a casual dinner or lunch. They have both otside and inside seating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food and service. We stopped for lunch and had their gnocchi, steak and bruschetta! We shared it and they even cut the steak up for us and split plates. All delicious. The host and waiter were very nice and accommodating by adding a side table when we needed extra room and turning on the fan when we got a bit hot.
