before starting with the review I would like to notify two things: - the exceptionally low vote is compared to the high price; if the price had been lower (maximum 25 euros for a dinner) then I would have been able to give 3 stars, but of course I set myself up for 60 euros for person for a dinner (on average the price is this, including the wines) then we stay on just one star (on detail: 12 euro average apetizer 12 euro first course, 18 euros second course, 4,5 euros glass of wine, 5 euros sweets..you can easily spend 60 euros) -we didn't try the second courses, so we can't judge their quality; appetizer, first courses and wines had us so dumbfounded that we preferred to skip the second (especially scared of spending almost 20 euros for a second course of poor quality) Having said that, it must be said that the quality of the food is an amateur tavern, not a high-level cuisine, to which the restaurant aims, obviously, given the elegant atmosphere and the large presence of waiters, as well as the high prices of the dishes. Going into detail, the pumpkin sup with polenta (kind of (coocked korn) was a microscopic portion of pumpkin blended with a scoop of polenta, with some drop of cheese and decorative cream of questionable quality: mind you, not inedible, but my home coocked pumpkin soup si much better. My girlfriend took the tartar instead, the only really good thing of the evening! I was thinking of raising to two-star the judgment only for this excellent beef tartar, but as I said, if the restaurant aims to be a luxury restaurant, then it must pay the consequences of a severe judgment, and I think a very good tartar cannot compensate for the errors I'll talk about shortly, As first course we tried the wild boar tortelli with raspberry sauce and the beetroot spatzels: one worse than the other! The stuffing of tortelli was a very salty wild boar ragΓΉ and the combination with raspberry jam made no sense (it makes me shudder to ruin the wild boar meat, one of my favorites, in that way). Regarding the spatzle, they would have been ok (mind you: OK but not excellent compared the price) if it wasn't for the very strong but above all, burnt bacon! Unforgivable. I will overfly sweets, completely useless and lacking in quality. Regarding drinking, another very painful note: the four types of wine tested (all 4 white) apart from a quite good muscat, were very harsh and with little complex organoleptic notes and, although barely perceptible, were covered by the high degree of sourness, therefore essentially poorly balanced. I must say that they were definitely not bad wines at all, but by setting them at more or less 4,5 euros for a glass, then the vote collapses. Ah the sorbet was terrible, with pieces of ice inside (one of the biggest mistakes for an ice cream). The restaurant itself is pleasant, nice, clean, the managers and waiters are friendly but sometimes not very competent (unfortunately some waiters are not experts in wine). Lot of people gave an high score: don't know if in the past the quality was better or the people are blinded from the nice atmosfere. I'm very sorry, I won't be back.

Main course good, dessert very good, wine as well. BUT: pasta was of bad quality: pesto wasnt selfmade, it tasted exactly like all convenience pesti from the supermarket (it also had this acidity). Fuzi where hard, never al dente. The ragu di cervo was far too dry and had an intense "wild" taste. In austria we say this can only happen when the meat is badly prepared, hormonic taste. I couldnt swallow it. All in all 3 courses with huge quality-differences.
