L'uomo è l'unica bestia (io direi meglio "la") capace di inventarsi una cosa assurda come la guerra. Vedere i tanti nomi scritti sulle lapidi che contornano questo sacrario è sconvolgente, pensare al sacrificio di tante giovani vite che da un giorno all'altro son venuti a mancare ai propri cari è devastante. Questo monumento deve essere un monito acchè quanto accaduto nn si ripeta mai più. L'ossario di timau (io preferisco chiamarlo sacrario perché quello che c'è lì dentro sono le anime di quei giovani) è un monumento ben realizzato con tutti i lati coperti dalle iscrizioni e con all'interno (secondo quanto raccontato da una vecchietta incontrata sul posto) una bella chiesa con un grande crocefisso, purtroppo era chiusa, aprivano intorno alle 15 e nn abbiamo potuto visitarla. Ma già dall'esterno rispecchia quello che vuole essere, un luogo di riposo e di preghiera per chi con onore e coraggio ha immolato la propria vita. What to say? But already from the outside it reflects what it wants to be, a place of rest and prayer for those who have sacrificed their lives with honor and courage.
