Questa volta abbiamo visitato l'Aspromonte e le sue splendide Cascate Mundu e Galasia. Sono davvero incantevoli così come incantevole è il sentiero, ben tenuto, che porta alle cascate. Non facilissimo, pertanto si consiglia di indossare scarpe da trekking e utilizzare i bastoni. È un continuo scendi e sali tra i boschi, ma se l'intero percorso è troppo stancante, potete sempre optare per fermarvi alla prima cascata che, già di suo, è un vero incanto. Calabria land to discover, full of magical and enchanted places. This time we visited Aspromonte and its splendid Mundu and Galasia waterfalls. They are truly enchanting as well as the well-kept path that leads to the falls. Not very easy, therefore it is recommended to wear trekking shoes and use sticks. It is a continuous descent and ascent through the woods, but if the entire route is too tiring, you can always opt to stop at the first waterfall which, already on its own, is a real enchantment.
C	Carmelo Grandinetti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Della cascata di Mundu ho parlato in altra recensione. Galasia non è una sola cascata ma due. Entrambe bellissime, sia chiaro. Il percorso è comune fino ad una biforcazione segnalata bene all'altezza di una sorgente che sgorga da una pietra (per chi vuole la si può bere, io l'ho fatto e sto scrivendo la recensione?). Galasia grande è ha un salto importante e una pozza dove fare il bagno abbastanza grande come comoda è anche la spiaggetta; l'acqua è gelida si badi bene. Proprio queste sue caratteristiche fanno si che sia molto gettonata e più affollata di Galasia piccola. Galasia piccola si trova in una zona più bassa e contornata da rocce imponenti che le fanno da contorno. Sinceramente l'ho preferita alla prima proprio perché più raccolta e meno affollata. L'acqua è meno fredda rispetto a Galasia grande ma non di molto. Ho avuto modo di godere del sole per un bel po' con calma e in pieno relax. Come già detto per Mundu, non si tratta di una passeggiata ed è necessario avere atyrezzatura adatta come scarpe da trekking e abbigliamento tecnico (non andate con scarpe da tennis o ciabbatte...si ho visto anche gente in ciabatte?). Consiglio di rivolgersi ad una guida esperta, l'esperienza ne giova in modo assoluto. Meraviglioso Aspromonte!? I talked about the Mundu waterfall in another review. Galasia is not a single waterfall but two. Both beautiful, mind you. The path is common up to a well-marked bifurcation at the height of a spring that flows from a stone (for those who want it you can drink it, I did it and I'm writing the review?). Galasia grande has an important jump and a pool where you can swim quite large as is the small beach; the water is freezing, mind you. Precisely these characteristics make it very popular and more crowded than small Galasia. Small Galasia is located in a lower area and surrounded by imposing rocks that surround it. Honestly, I preferred it to the first one because it is more intimate and less crowded. The water is less cold than in large Galasia but not by much. I was able to enjoy the sun for quite a while calmly and in complete relaxation. As already said for Mundu, it is not a walk and it is necessary to have suitable equipment such as trekking shoes and technical clothing (do not go with tennis shoes or slippers ... yes I have also seen people in slippers). I recommend that you contact an expert guide, experience is absolutely beneficial. Wonderful Aspromonte! ?
