Che mi sembra un tempo più che standard! Vorrei vedere se andaste dal medico e vi liquidasse di fretta e furia in 10 minuti cosa pensereste... L’ospedale venne infine completato con altri tre corpi di fabbrica con la cappella, i dormitori per il personale e per le suore, la lavanderia e la cucina e altri ambienti di servizio, e venne inaugurato nel 1927. Nei decenni successivi furono costruiti numerosi altri edifici. Dal 2012 con l'apertura del nuovo Ospedale di Cona, dopo una momentanea chiusura, è diventato la Casa della Salute – Cittadella di San Rocco, a seguito di un' opera di riorganizzazione dei servizi sanitari della città di Ferrara e di messa a norma della parte dell’anello del Sant’Anna riservata ad attività sanitarie.
