Quando,però, si dice Bartolo tout-court, in tutta Salina e a Filicudi, si sa con certezza di chi si sta parlando: Bartolo De Fina.
Molti dei suoi prodotti sono a chilometro zero (ricordo gli ottimi ceci ,anzi i migliori che abbia mai mangiato ) che raccoglieva la sua mamma. Altri sono comunque tipicamente siciliani.
Tutta la famiglia (ed anche l'aiutante Igor) è estremamente attiva gentile e disponibile.
I think Bartolo is the most common name in the Aeolian Islands: the name, in fact, must always be accompanied by the surname.
However, when Bartolo is said tout-court, throughout Salina and Filicudi, one knows with certainty who one is talking about: Bartolo De Fina.
Many of his products are zero kilometer (I remember the excellent chickpeas, indeed the best I have ever eaten) that his mother collected. Others are however typically Sicilian.
The whole family (and also the helper Igor) is extremely active, kind and helpful.
