★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dalla piazzetta antistante alla facciata, da cui si ha un'ampia vista sul mare, si accede alle Logge di Santa Chiara, costruite sulle antiche mura medievali. Un carrugio separa la chiesa da Palazzo Lavagna mentre Palazzo Acquarone si erge alle sue spalle.
From the square in front of the facade, from which you have a wide view of the sea, you can access the Loggias di Santa Chiara, built on the ancient medieval walls. A narrow street separates the church from Palazzo Lavagna while Palazzo Acquarone stands behind it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissimo oratorio in posizione splendida sulle antiche mura medioevali a picco sul mare con un campanile che poggia su una preesistente torre di avvistamento delle imbarcazioni saracene.
Beautiful oratory in a splendid position on the ancient medieval walls overlooking the sea with a bell tower that rests on a pre-existing watchtower of Saracen boats.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una delle opere d'arte di Imperia si trova a Porto Maurizio. Facilmente raggiungibile da piazza del Duomo percorrendo via Botta. Completato alla fine del 1700 e' ricco di opere d'arte, la volta affrescata è a botte ed è presente l'apparato dei Cartelami dei Carrega, le panche sono contrapposte. Luogo di culto aperto sempre al sabato pomeriggio per la funzione religiosa. Dalla scalinata e dal sagrato, la vista verso ponente è unica. Luogo da non perdere passando da Imperia.
One of Imperia's works of art is located in Porto Maurizio. Easily reachable from Piazza del Duomo along via Botta. Completed at the end of the 1700s, it is rich in works of art, the frescoed vault is a barrel vault and the Cartelami dei Carrega apparatus is present, the benches are opposite. Place of worship always open on Saturday afternoons for religious services. From the staircase and the churchyard, the view towards the west is unique. A place not to be missed passing through Imperia.
