La Settimana Santa di Enna è costituita da una serie di processioni religiose derivanti da antiche tradizioni di origine spagnola che si tengono annualmente nella città siciliana. Le celebrazioni attraggono migliaia di turisti e rappresentano l'evento più importante per la città e per la sua provincia, soprattutto in occasione della processione del Venerdì Santo, durante la quale sfilano circa 2.500 confrati incappucciati, che portano i fercoli di Gesù morto e della Madonna Addolorata, sulle note di diverse marce funebri. I riti sono stati inseriti tra le manifestazioni a richiamo turistico internazionale in Sicilia e tra le eredità immateriali della Regione Siciliana. La Settimana Santa a Enna è un bene protetto dall'UNESCO.
During the Holy Week the Savior is carried in procession through the streets of the town. A unique show not to be missed.
The Holy Week of Enna consists of a series of religious processions deriving from ancient traditions of Spanish origin which are held annually in the Sicilian city. The celebrations attract thousands of tourists and represent the most important event for the city and its province, especially on the occasion of the Good Friday procession, during which about 2,500 hooded brothers parade, carrying the fercoli of dead Jesus and the Madonna Addolorata, on the notes of various funeral marches. The rites were included among the events of international tourist appeal in Sicily and among the intangible inheritances of the Sicilian Region. Holy Week in Enna is a heritage protected by UNESCO.
