G	Gavi Wine Land on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le prime notizie riguardanti la Confraternita della SS. Trinità denominata dei Rossi sono datate all'inizio del 1600, quindi questa è l'ultima in ordine di tempo. L' attuale Chiesa è stata costruita presumibilmente tra il 1640 e il 1645. E' a navata unica con loggiato interno a tre arcate a tutto sesto su due colonne centrali in pietra, così come la facciata è a capanna con un grande portale, costruito all'epoca per l'uscita del gruppo ligneo della SS. Trinità dal capomastro Novaro per 120 lire. All'interno vi sono custoditi: due Crocifissi di notevole fattura risalenti al 1780 circa, la nicchia per la statua della SS. Trinità e due altari dedicati a S. Agostino e N. S. di Misericordia che fu eretto a spese del pio benefattore Andrea Cipollina fu Agostino nel 1879. L'attuale organo è stato costruito attorno al 1800 dall'artigiano novese Bianchi. Sono di proprietà della Confraternita anche alcuni dipinti di pregevole fattura donati all'Oratorio. Tra questi il Martirio di San Sebastiano, opera di scuola spagnola tra il 1600 e il 1649. Vi sono altresì un ECCE HOMO, la "Continenza di Scipione" del pittore genovese Giovanni Raffaele Badaracco, databile 1626-1648, dipinto di ottima qualità. L'abbellimento della volta centrale sopra l'altare maggiore, con dipinti ed affreschi fu eseguita dal pittore di adozione gaviese Santo Bertelli, parente degli scultori e pittori Luigi e Francesco Montecucco tra il 1922 e il 1928. Da vedere la processione della SS Trinità nella prima domenica dopo la Pentecoste, con la statua lignea portata da una coppia di buoi bianchi. The first news regarding the Confraternity of the SS. Trinità denominated dei Rossi are dated to the early 1600s, so this is the last in order of time. The current church was built presumably between 1640 and 1645. It has a single nave with an internal loggia with three round arches on two central stone columns, as well as a gabled facade with a large portal, built on the era for the exit of the wooden group of the SS.
