I purchased some soap as souvenirs for friends (and, uh, myself). Not cheap, but well worth it. The store is tiny but stocks items you can't find online.

And at the end, they also gave him a packet of candies (after checking with me, which was very polite). The products smelled amazing. I’ll definitely be back.

When she finally did wait on us, she told me that the perfume I’d purchased two days before (and wanted to exchange for lotion; I’d bought it as a gift and discovered my friend already had a full bottle of the perfume) had been opened and so could not be returned. It had not been opened and when I told her this, she grabbed the bottle from my hands and proceeded to open it. I now have to give this as a gift. This woman was extremely rude and I will tell all my friends who live in Rome or visit Rome to NEVER patronize this establishment. This was an older, blonde woman. The young brunette who’d helped me the first day was quite nice, but this woman obviously has it in for non-Italians.
