When I was offered a pricey item (35 € for a pair of gloves with poor stitching), I tried haggling, being used to this from small second hand shops, but the owner immediately grabbed my arm and shoved me outside with a "ciao". When I realised I probably made a mistake in culture, I apologised and said I'd pay the original price- only to have him increase it to 45 and cut off any attempts to reconcile. You'll find wares here, sure, but at other stores your money will go to friendly people.
