Sono andato per vedere "Roma" ed ho pagato 6,50 nonostante fosse domenica con la possibilità di scegliere tra platea e tribuna

Non do 1 stella solo perché non mi sembra giusto per un posto che un tempo era il 2° cinema più frequentato di Catania.
Beautiful architecture but it needs to be restored! There are some inaccessible spots (the balconies), the armchairs are old and the room is dirty!
I don't give 1 star just because it doesn't seem right for a place that was once the 2nd most popular cinema in Catania.

Un cinema teatro, che ha resistito intatto nel suo incanto, per tutti questi anni. La prima volta quando avevo 17 anni. L'ultima, ora che ne ho 35, ieri sera. Non grandissimo, non multisala. Ed è proprio per queste sue caratteristiche che è quel che è. Intimo, crea atmosfere uniche grazie anche alla gestione certosina e attenta nella costruzione dei giochi di luce per i concerti. Prezioso, una volta seduti guardandosi attorno si possono notare le vetrate e le decorazioni di un'epoca d'oro del teatro.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the oldest cinema in Catania 1930's. You can go upstairs and see the movie because there is a huge covering balcony. You have to go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you find yourself in Catania and want to experience a movie theater from a different era the Odeon is the place for you. I have never seen an English language offering on the bill, however, the building is worth the price of admission.
