Vado, faccio vedere le foto del problema, spiego, lascio il numero di telefono per essere ricontattato da un loro addetto per un sopralluogo. Dopo due settimane, niente. Richiamo, e mi viene detto che per il mio problema devo rivolgermi ad un fabbro. Stupito, rispiego alla impiegata il problema. Emerge che non aveva capito di che si parlasse, nonostante le foto assolutamente esplicative. Ricontrolla il mio numero di cellulare, e mi dice che mi richiameranno per l'appuntamento. Sono passati 9 mesi, mai più sentiti. Mi rendo conto che si trattasse di un lavoro "minore", ma conferma l'impressione per cui se devi fare un lavoro redditizio, trovi sempre gente disposta a fartelo. Per una riparazione, puoi attendere anni. Avrei preferito l'onestà di dirmi direttamente "ci dispiace, non lo facciamo". I needed a repair to a window frame. Little stuff, I realize, but annoying. I go, I show the photos of the problem, I explain, I leave the phone number to be contacted by one of their staff for an inspection. After two weeks, nothing. I call back, and I'm told that for my problem I have to go to a locksmith. Amazed, I explain the problem to the employee. It emerges that he did not understand what was being talked about, despite the absolutely explanatory photos. Double check my cell phone number, and tell me they will call me back for the appointment. 9 months have passed, never felt again. I realize that it was a "minor" job, but it confirms the impression that if you have to do a profitable job, you always find people willing to do it. For a repair, you can wait years. I would have preferred honesty to say directly "sorry, we don't."
