★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taxis are expensive in Lipari so you will want to rent a car or scooter. I highly recommend this spot. It is an easy walk from the port, even with luggage, and the people are so nice and honest. Elena, the daughter, speaks excellent English and will quickly set you up with a vehicle and a map with suggestions of where to visit. Parking is hard to find in Lipari, but she was willing to have us bring the car to the shop for parking while we dinesd or shopped. Great family run business!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What luck for us that our hotel was very close to this scooter shop! We walked in and was greeted by the owner's lovely young daughter, Elena. Not only did she patiently answer all of our many questions about the scooter rental, she also gave us a true preview of Lipari as though she was our tour guide. And the scooter rode like a charm. What a wonderful experience, highly recommended!
