e	elena ruvolo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ASSOLUTAMENTE DA EVITARE Ho noleggiato un cinquantino per 3 giorni a Salina. All'arrivo troviamo un signore che ci porta al noleggio dei motori: una autofficina in mezzo alla campagna non raggiungibile se non accompagnati e con mezzi molto mal messi. Anche i caschi sono al limite della decenza .. naturalmente ogni tipo di sanificazione è un optionale. Ci viene proposto e dato un cinquantino molto instabile ma marciante.Decidiamo di noleggiare ugualmente il mezzo per evitare di essere lasciati in aperta campagna con i bagagli. Di giorno il mezzo a fatica ma fa il suo dovere. Di sera abbiamo rischiato la vita: nelle strade tutte buie la fioca luce del motore non era sufficiente ad illuminare la strada e a dare segnalazione agli altri autisti. Abbiamo avuto paura. A fine noleggio abbiamo fatto presente che è da incoscienti noleggiare dei mezzi così pericolosi. Ne sorge una lite ma decidiamo ugualmente di pagare. una volta pagato questi "gentil "signori nonostante avessimo la partenza da lì a poco ci hanno scaricato i bagagli sulla strada e lasciato a piedi in aperta campagna senza riaccompagnarci al porto come promesso riempiendoci di insulti e dicendo di starcene a casa...il turista infatti deve pagare senza fiatare! Naturalmente tutto questa in una zona senza segnale del telefono per poter chiamare un taxi ....cosi si trattano i turisti!!! Esempio di civiltà. brutta storia campare sulla pelle altrui. Vergogna! ABSOLUTELY TO AVOID I hired a fifty for 3 days in Salina. Upon arrival we find a gentleman who takes us to the rental of engines: a garage in the middle of the countryside that cannot be reached if unaccompanied and with very bad means. Even helmets are on the verge of decency .. of course, any type of sanitization is an option. We are offered and given a very unstable but marching fifty. We decide to rent the vehicle anyway to avoid being left in the open countryside with our luggage. During the day the vehicle struggles but does its duty. In the evening we risked our lives: in the dark streets the dim engine light was not enough to illuminate the road and to signal the other drivers. We were afraid. At the end of the rental we pointed out that it is unconscious to rent such dangerous vehicles. A dispute arises but we still decide to pay. once paid these "gentle" gentlemen despite our departure shortly thereafter they unloaded our luggage on the road and left us on foot in the open countryside without taking us back to the port as promised filling us with insults and saying to stay at home ... the tourist in fact he must pay without saying a word! Of course all this in an area without a telephone signal to be able to call a taxi .... this is how tourists are treated !!! Example of civilization. bad story living on the skin of others. Shame!

Always a available (even at 7.30 in the morning in time for the ferry), extremely kind, fun guys. Highly recommended!

Even if they are not in one of the main towns of the island, it is worth it to rent with them. You can take the bus from SM Salina o Malfa, it is just a couple of stops.

We arrived in Santa Marina port and looking for a scooter to rent for the day we checked the reviews of Bongiorno rental, deciding to avoid it. We found Merlino rental instead, and we were very satisfied by the service. In order to get there from Santa Marina port we got a public bus, dropping off at Capo Faro (just avoid the taxi, it's a rip off of 20 Euros for few mins drive). On the way back Merlino rental brought us back to the port.
