Auto noleggiata dalla mia assicurazione come auto sostitutiva e mi è stata consegnata in condizioni igieniche imbarazzanti, internamente sporca e puzzolente in maniera incredibile, meccanicamente aveva dei seri problemi al cambio (faticava moltissimo ad entrare la terza), esternamente aveva una fincata totalmente strisciata e ovviamente tutta grandinata. Definirei incompetente la persona che mi ha servito in quanto, nel descrivermi il luogo dove avrei trovato l'auto, non sapeva neanche dirmi di che colore fosse (a testimonianza del fatto che non l'aveva neppure vista, non notando così quanto fosse impresentabile). A questi andrebbero aggiunti altri gravi problemi di incomprensione che il noleggio ha avuto con l'assicurazione, che non scrivo perchè non lo riguardano direttamente ma che ci sono stati e che ho dovuto subire. Stay away. Car rented by my insurance as a replacement car and it was delivered to me in embarrassing hygienic conditions, internally dirty and smelly in an incredible way, mechanically it had serious problems with the gearbox (it was very difficult to enter the third one), externally it had a totally crawled finc and obviously all hailstorm. I would define the person who served me incompetent as, in describing the place where I would find the car, he could not even tell me what color it was (testifying to the fact that he had not even seen it, thus not noticing how unpresentable it was) . To these should be added other serious problems of misunderstanding that the rental has had with the insurance, which I do not write because it does not concern it directly but that there have been and that I had to suffer.

Anzichè pagare quanto mi è dovuto, pur di prender tempo, il numero verde Avis-Maggiore mi ha consigliato di rivolgermi ad uno studio legale....state alla larga, vergogna! Il titolare sig. Claudio C. non contattabile. Se siete di Pavia o intendete noleggiare un auto a Pavia state lontani da Avis Maggiore. Consiglio piuttosto Europcar sempre a Pavia, corretti e integerrimi impossible to recover the security deposit from August 2021. Instead of paying what I owe, in order to take time, the Avis-Maggiore toll-free number advised me to contact a law firm .... stay away, shame! The owner Mr. Claudio C. not contactable. If you are from Pavia or intend to rent a car in Pavia, stay away from Avis Maggiore. I rather recommend Europcar always in Pavia, correct and upright

When we called them they said it closes at 5pm, and we went at 4:30 pm but they were already closed! Although we booked the car for 5:30pm they did not wait for us and let us now about this change. so disrespectful. they have the phone number, but they do not call and update us.

L	Lisa Fitzpatrick on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT RENT A CAR HERE! If you want surprise additional costs, no receipts and your credit card details photographed than this is the agency for you! On the other hand if you would like clarity, correct documents and credit card security do not rent with Maggigore! The place is a joke! Here's what happened to me... I made a reservation online and when I got to the agency to pick up my car I was told that the credit card machine was not working. Therefore, the credit card deposit would be processed by a different office. When I asked how much the deposit would be I was told that the amount is unknown because "the machine calculates the deposit"!!! I asked if I would get a receipt and I was told this would not be possible. The more questions I asked the more I started to realise that this is a total scam! From questioning I was also told that they would deduct the cost of hiring snow chains from the deposit despite the fact that my booking included everything, even insurance. I really needed the car so I agreed for another office to take the deposit. The girl asked for my credit card and then took a photo of the front of my card and turned it over to take a photo of the back!!! Luckily I took back my card before she had time to take the second photo! She got very angry and kept telling me that this is normal procedure. Needless to say I did not rent a car from them in the end and I am waiting for my refund. By the way Claudio is not at all professional, he's an absolute coward.
