Terrible company, last time I will EVER rent from them. - You have to pick up the car in the garage, which is ~5 min from the location in the centre. - The contract is signed before you ever see the car. - The cars are not always perfectly clean', just normal. - My last car smelled a lot of cigarette smoke, which was not very pleasant. In less than 1 hour driving, the car had a flat tyre, and I had no way of proving this happened during my driving, or the car already had damage. They charged me 500 euros for replacing a flat tyre, but after many arguments with my credit card company and legal assistance, I could have got it down to 100. YOU, THE CUSTOMER, EXISTS SOLELY FOR THEM TO SQUEEZE YOU COMPLETELY DRY!

Absolute nightmare - walk away from this renter - you will have to queue between one or two hours to get a car. They will push you a lot to take additional useless insurances. They take between 10 to 15 min to give a car to 1 customer .

Car rental in general can be quite stressful, but I rent cars here quite often usually every month, and they are always easy to deal with and helpful.

Horrible! First of all I simply cannot understand why the person working at the front desk cannot speak English when they surely will be dealing with a lot of tourists. Secondly we had an issue with the booking due to a misunderstanding, and thank god I can speak Italian because we were getting nowhere. Since we didn't have a credit card for the deposit to be charged on...we were charged an extra 52 euro. A lot of hassle, extra costs and inefficient.

We rented the car online, and the trouble began when we arrived at the agency to pick up the car. In fact, we discovered that, even if our Visa card had been accepted to pay for the reservation, it was not possible to use it for the deposit of the car, because it was a debit card. We tried discussing with the employee at the counter to get more information about the possibility of cancelling our reservation, but he refused to help us, telling us to call the customer service and not answering any of our question. Then, we were proposed to either not get the car at all and loose the full price of our reservation, or that they could accept our card, but only if we payed for the highest level of insurance, which for us multiplied the price of our rental by 1.5. Contractually speaking, it is indeed written in the general conditions that a credit card is necessary for the booking. However, an important point to note is that in France, credit cards are practically inexistant, all banks deliver debit cards. We think that Noleggiare should be encouraged to make the credit/debit card situation more clear on their website during the booking process. At this point of the discussion, we decided to take the time to fully read again the general conditions of the company in order to make sure we understood what the "highest level of insurance" meant. Two employees were present at the counter, one english speaking and one italian-only speaking. While we don't speak much italian, we are able to understand when we are getting insulted, which we were by the second employee, probably because we were taking so much time to read the general conditions. We then accepted to pay extra and they edited our rental contract and asked us to sign it. When we said we wanted to read it before signing anything, we got insulted in italian again. We still read the contract and signed it. The most terrible part of our experience began at that moment. At this point a third employee had arrived, english speaking as well. First, the employees tried to handover the keys to us without showing us where our car was parked. We insisted that one of them accompany us because we wanted them to show us where the safety wheel of the car was located. Out of the three persons present, they decided that it would be the italian-only speaking person that would accompany us, even if they knew we couldn't speak italian. We then had to run behind the employee who was walking to the car park without waiting for us. Once we got to the car, as expected, he said "non parlo inglese" and "non capisco" to every single question we asked him. When we proceeded to check the car for damages that might not be marked on the contract, he yelled at us, probably asking that we hurry. Since we continued to check the car, he yelled at us again and left. We still did not know where the safety wheel was located (it was in fact missing), so I proceeded to call Noleggiare customer service to get help. They told me they would send someone back to show us. We waited for 15min but nobody came back. Giving back the keys was an equally horrible experience. While we were parking the car, we came accross the italian-only speaking employee, who looked at us and left. When we got out of the car park, the same employee was waiting for us. We did not want to give him the keys in the middle of the street but in the agency, to properly end our contract. We were also hoping to be able to speak english to someone. The employe called somebody, who asked us before we could start explaining our case "that we stop creating problems, we already created enough problems as it is". We informed them about the missing fuel and safety wheel. The person on the phone told us "I'll give you 5e, and then you'll be happy, is that it, you want ?". The present employee then took out his wallet to hand us 5 euros in cash. We were expecting an official refund, on our bank account, with an associated receipt, like any professional would do. Getting cash seemed very unprofessional and risky to us, so we just refused and left.

The WORST car rental of my life! The customer service is disastrous, they talk to us like we're nothing. They gave us a car with the wrong gas in it (!!!) and after 50kms we broke down. We had to pay for the tow truck, we had no assistance. And now we are in legal proceedings because they are asking us for additional costs (more than 1000euros) to go and get the car back from the tow truck. This rental company is to be avoided absolutely.

Terrible rental company, renting car with deflated tires and still charges you more for the rental because of the credit card that was a debit one. Moreover, they charged me twice for a mysterious fine from the Italian police, that I have, since last summer, yet not received. Bizarrely, this 60e fee for the transfer of my folder to the police is underlined in the contract. I haven't received any fine yet, but Noleggiare charged me twice for two so called fines. They are probably making business with this clause from the contract, be aware.
