★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this restaurant on a recommendation of a local friend and I was gladly surprised. It is located in an industrial/commercial area and doesn't look inviting from the outside but once you get inside, you'll find yourself in a nice and welcoming, modern venue. Service was fast and nice, and recommended excellent first courses. The food was great. I had what was presented as a local specialty: tortelloni with ricotta and spinach in a cream and bacon sauce. I would highly recommend this dish: the pasta was very fresh and the flavors very well balanced. Coffee was also great (as it normally is in Italy). All in all a great experience and I would like to go back in a future visit to Modena.
