★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the type of Italian restaurant that can be found in every city on the planet. I avoid them like the plague, but having walked in the door it didn't seem appropriate to turn and run.
The waiters were the red flag. There were somewhere between 6 and 10 of them. "Professional waiters" in black waist coats etc. fussing about with cutlery, napkins and glasses. Bottom line: I should have gone down the road to a pizza place, had an enjoyable chat with the owner, met some locals and paid 50% less.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly, helpful and english capable staff. A few dishes are hit and miss but some are truly excellent, like the tuna carpaccio, highly recommended. Large servings and beautiful outdoor dining area for summer evenings.
