Headache from the beginning Would never recommend Tim to anyone trying to start a phone plan. The company charged me a different amount then the plan I signed up for (also my friends) and there are many hidden fees. The customer service and cellphone service are equally terrible. I have lived in Italy for a few years now and I would recommend anyone on a short trip or long stay in Italy to use WIND (not far from this branch underneath SMN train station) and completely avoid at all cost Tim.

Staff is quite friendly. Though they told me last time that my TIM data will work in Czech republic and it was not working at all. TIM as a company has very LOW LEVEL of CUSTOMER SERVICE. When I used 30GB package it was working but when you use all your data...you have to wait until period of 30 days is completed and only then they will renew the package. When I tried to recharge before package was renewed they charged me ruthlessly. 13 euro in 2 days and I did not use a lot of data. They claim just for connecting to internet without browsing I was charged 5 euro..When we called to customer support and asked explanation about outrageous charges... First guy only listened...and promised that someone else will call us. They called me and off course...non english speaking person..I asked if anyone speaks english there and one guy pick up the phone... He was amazingly ARROGANT...he started push forcibly his explanation. He propably never heard any info from first guy who listened to all details of my story..When I told him: "Please can you listen? You are CUSTOMER SERVICE so you should listen what customer says.." HIS REACTION WAS: "I AM CUSTOMER SERVICE THATS WHY YOU MUST LISTEN!"...I hanged the phone irritated: Later we called 3 times customer service again with my italian friend and they did not provide us reasonable explanation of nonsense charges...Their explanation were only attempts to cover up. And they were not willing to help. In case of TIM CUSTOMER SERVICE is losing its original meaning...Since SERVICE MEANS TO SERVE customer and that is what THEY DONT DO!!! So thats the story why I decided to leave TIM forever and never recommend them to anyone. VODAFONE cheated me as well. And Wind people did not want to talk in english...Not easy job to find reliable internet provider in Italy:(

Every time I go back to Italy, I always stop at this store. The staff is always welcoming and they can resolve all problems in the faster way. Very good also for foreign, cause everybody speak english :)

TIM as a provider is a complete rip-off. 35euros for 20Gb of internet (no calls or messages included) and while I was getting the SIM card no less than 3 people complained that they got a bogus charge of exactly 1.5 euro on their number for making a call or sending a message (which should be impossible to do because the package doesn’t include calls or messages). I thought it was just something they did wrong. Lo and behold 4 days later the exact same charge of 1.5 euro appears on my number and I then had to pay their minimum amount of credit recharge which is 7 euros (because they had shut off my 4g internet without even a text message, leaving me high and dry on the highway with no way to use google maps). How the f*** can I have negative 1.5 euro credit on a prepaid number? Do you even know what prepaid means? Tourists beware and stay far far away! Employees at this location speak English and are friendly. Still knowingly rob you blind tho. Edit: I don’t know how to respond to the below reply other than editing this review. I have used neither FaceTime nor iMessage (or any other service apart from google maps really). I understand you would always give a standard template reply to any negative review and it will always only be my word against yours. That doesn’t change the fact that I have been charged 7 euros extra for a 35euro service arbitrarily. Judging by many reviews of TIM on multiple platforms including Google Maps, TripAdvisor etc. hundreds of people have been subject to such unfair and predatory practices. My bad experience was neither the only one made public, nor the only one I personally witnessed. Have a good day.

This place is a scam. They do not explain what their plans actually include and end up selling you a ridiculous plan for non-Italians with heaps of added clauses to extort money from you. Also there is apparently no information in store to outline the terms and conditions, that is for the consumer to research, it cannot he provided in store. Do not trust the useless morons that work here, I strongly advise you get your sim somewhere else. Not worth the hassle or the wasted time spent trying to reason with an idiot. It would be an insult to the word useless to even suggest that this place is useless.

I should say that I hate TIM because they charged me a lot of money every month without reasons. I has finally changed to Vodafone and I wish I could do it earlier. However I have really good impression of this Tim store. Staffs were so helpful and attentive. When I was using Tim operator, they used to support me to charge money, active this package, find information, etc. I give 5 stars for their customer-driven employees, not for TIM operator.

Horrible customer service. I purchased the sim card turistico online, I supposed to pick it up at any TIM store. They do have it in stock. Once I show them the papers that I purchased it online and only need to pick it up, they refuse to give it to me. It happened the same at 4 different stores. I called and asked first if they have that sim card and they said yes. Finally one store gave me the sim card. I asked why the other stores didn't want to give me the sim card and the associate said: because they are lazy. They don't want to work

I recommend a different provider. TIM's mobile service in Firenze is terrible. I've regularly had no data connectivity despite having full bars of signal connectivity. When I have had service, data speeds have averaged ~2.5 Mbs down and 3.25 Mbs up while on 4G which would be considered slow for a 3G connection let alone a 4G connection. I recommend you go with a different provider
