Very interesting museum: it is divided in 6 parts, each one dedicated to a different topic (for example the history of the San Francesco hospital, pathologies, and so on). It is very interactive, with some items to be touched, some screen walls and a lot of instruments used in the past by surgeons. It takes about two hours to visit all the museum. The museum provides translations in English and it is very interesting even for children.

Interesting path on the evolution of the medical science, very suitable for children, the visit lasts about 1.5 hours

In my opininon, this shouldn't be called a museum. It was a total dissapointment. There are only a few exhibits such as old instruments, a handful of books and some texts on walls about history of medicine. All that space is dedicated to interactive screens that teach you about human body general stuff that you can easily find in every game on app store. It may be interesting for children, but not for an adult who wants to know more about how medicine developed in this region. If you want to know more about this, I highly suggest a guided tour at University of Padova (much cheaper, far more interesting and it includes a part of history of medicine as well).

I visited the museum as I like to know about the human biology and the working behind it. It has a detailed history about how anatomy has developed, evolving from the four humours theory to the one we have today. The tools that the scientists used in those days plus their 'operating theatre' too. But I would want to say that the museum does lack some English translations for certain areas. But aside from that it is a pleasure to visit the museum and check out the medical history that it houses. I would recommend it.

(Written from the perspective of a tourist) The museum was very interesting, but was not very well advertised. Some of the displays had an information card in English, but these seemed to be shorter than the information in Italian, so I feel like we missed out on a lot of information. Also, the were lots of books on display, but these had no English counterpart, so again we could not appreciate them fully. The price was a little steep, and if it was reduced slightly I imagine a lot more people would want to visit. It was extremely quiet when I visited. My partner and I practically had the place to ourselves.

Interactive museum that attracts attention of children and their parents. Excellent idea how to present Padova as university city, city of science via new technics. Everything is translated to English, too. Tickets for decent price - 22€ for family with two children. It was open today although it was a national holiday. Not crowdy.

There are no words to describe how amazing the MUSME - Museo di Storia della Medicina in Padova is! Wonderful experience, so much to see. Highly recommended for anyone with an interest in medicine or just a healthy curiosity about the human body and the evolution of medicine and treatment.
